City of Joburg is a sham

City of Joburg has reached new levels of incompetence and indifference. On Friday afternoon with absolutely no notification my water meter was removed and my water cut off despite my account being fully paid up. My husband went to the municipal offices to try and resolve the issue. No one had an answer as to why and no one really cared either nor could they guarantee when my meter will be replaced. My mom in law lives with me - she has dementia, can’t see or hear. It’s near impossible to care for her without water. What’s the point of trying to be an honest citizen when one has to repeatedly deal with such gross incompetence, rudeness and indifference. Madiba is turning in his grave.
