Billing Due date changed to earlier date
Good Day,

My City Of Johannesburg bill arrived via email on 9 September 2015 with a due date of 22.09.2015.
Initially my bill was due on the last day of the month, it then moved to an earlier date of the 27th of the month. The latter dates were fine as the payment was due after pay day. The former is expecting me to pay before I have money to be able to pay.

I was told by the call centre to go to the walk-in-centre, I chose Booysens as it is closer. Upon receiving service, I was told that the due date cannot be changed to a later date, because of the billing cycle in the area.

If I am unable to bill the bill before the 22nd why cannot I not change the due date, to a date that is suitable.

Te above problem, is in addition to , another the query I already have with over-billing due to a smart meter no being linked and estimations. I was told it would take 30 days. It has now been 44 days. The query has already been escalated, twice.
