The rates on this account number have an annual increase in July. The rates increased from R822.46 to R860.10 on 1 July 2024. It increased again on 1 December 2024 to R1076.81, an increase of 25% over and above the annual increase of 5% in July 2024. This is a total increase of 30% in 6 months. The other 2-bedroom units in this complex did not get an increase of 25% in December. The 3-bedroom units have a lower rate bill.

Please inform me why my unit has been increased above the norm?
