Appalling Customer Services
My mother in law's water was disconnected on the 15 April 2015 and when she went to query it a day later at City Power, a very friendly and helpful consultant Thami referred her to Ernest Mathabathe, who is the supervisor. Ernest was very unfriendly, unhelpful, unprofessional and at some stage appeared to be rude to my mother and left her in tears. He informed my mother that he will not help her and that she must sell her furniture to pay before he will connect anything. I then went with my mother today(17 April 2015) to pay the amount as well as to consult with Ernest and witnessed this appalling behaviour for myself. Not only was he aggressive but he also started pointed his fingers at me and complained when I returned the favour. He arrogantly gave me his name and surname when I told him that I will lay a formal complained and even directed me to his superior Glenda whom he knew very well was unavailable. We waited from 12:20 to 15:00 for Glenda to arrive which obviously did not happen. Will someone please teach Ernest the importance of customer services, after all we the customers are the ones paying his salary.
