Hello Peter I'm a resident of Alexandra Township, we've been struggling a lot with electricity this winter. We've been experiencing long periods of no electricity,it seems city power has forgotten about us. It's been 8 days today without electricity, we've contacted city power on many occasions but it seems we're being ignored I've personally contacted our ward 75 ward councilor Sunny,the rudest councilor I've ever encountered.... I've voice notes to prove it.

Our problems started when the ******* structures were being erected few years back,they didn't act accordingly from the word go. Now the people from this newly erected structures connected their cable *******ly *****ing electricity. This puts the strain on our cable and it causes power failures regularly

Now the councilor told me that it is our responsibility as residents to disconnect the enkanini cable since bona they are afraid to do so. I don't understand how,she has the power of the law within her grasp. What's stopping her from coming with the relevant people like police to help her to disconnect enkanini cable

And why are they not providing the enkanini residents with the necessities like sanitation and electricity? Why are we being punished for something that isn't our fault? Why councilor Sunny is being so rude to us,her people? How long do we have to endure this torcher?

Do we have to resort to contacting the media for help? We need answers,we need help
