Call Logged/ Not Logged

I phoned the City of Cape Town Electricity Dept. on Friday 12 February 2021 at approx. 13:45, and spoke to a lady who said her name was Samantha. She said that she logged the call and gave me a reference number ***). Today, Tuesday 16 February 2021 I phoned their call centre again to get an update on the issue, and was advised that although the reference number did exist, it had not been logged with the relevant department. Thank you for nothing Samantha!
