Cinecentre Liberty Midlands Mall - Dirty Theatres

I took my 5-year-old son to watch Sing2 on Thursday evening/afternoon at about 5.30pm. We entered the movie theatre at about 5.15 and were appalled at the state of the theatre. Cleaning had not been done from the previous show and there was popcorn and empty cartons everywhere. Needless to say that clearly in the midst of the pandemic nothing was sanitised or cleaned properly before the next crowd entered the theatre.

The cleaning staff came in just before the movie started and spent no more than 5 minutes tidying up the theatre. Nothing was wiped down or sanitised only sweeping and picking up of *******.

To pay R85 for a ticket and to have to sit in filth while we watched the movie is not really my idea of luxury entertainment.
