Bought tickets and double payments were taken from my account. When I enquired about this I was told it would be sent automatically to my account it has been more than 3 weeks now and I am still waiting. When I call they always say its been escalated to headquarters, I called headquarters today and was told they don't deal with refunds and the person in charge of this is "off" how does a company like this only have one person dealing with refunds. Absolutely pathetic. I'd give a 0 rating if I could.

Booked two tickets for a movie and ordered combos at Grandwest Cinecentre, only to sit in a theatre for 30 minutes , with the screen off and no sound, thereafter a staff member came in to inform us that the projector was overheating and that’s why the movie could not play. Was told I would be refunded for my two tickets which are not cheap , snacks as well. The same staff member who came in to inform us about the projector issues took down our details for refund purposes , which was 9 days ago , said that head office will email me personally for my banking details for a refund to be processed, 9 days later and im still waiting for my refund.

Still awaiting refunds for Deep Water that i couldn’t watch because the “projector was overheating”. We were told a week ago by an employee of the company that we will receive our full refunds including the popcorn in which the tickets were R210 and the popcorn was R182 yet we are still awaiting contact from management or head office.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received at CineCentre Suncoast in Durban. We asked the booking consultant to recommend a movie suitable for our children and were told to watch the Stray Kids screening. At no point were we informed that it was actually a concert film and not a normal movie. We paid R600+ and popcorn and drinks for four tickets. Within five minutes of the movie starting we realised it was a concert and left the cinema. We then spoke to the manager on duty who simply said it was the only kids option and offered no apology, refund, or alternative solution. We re**** on the staff member’s recommendation and feel we were misled. I would appreciate CineCentre reviewing this matter and providing either a refund or complimentary tickets for another movie. We basically paid R600+ for popcorn and coldrink and there is no way of getting in touch with you, before I take this to social media I suggest you reach out.

I purchased a bundle ticket to watch Anaconda at Cinecentre Grand West on the 27/01/2026 at 7.30pm. The bundle included a medium drink, a medium popcorn and the movie ticket itself. Expecting good service, I was met with excuses. There was only one cashier on duty and even after waiting almost 30 minutes I was still not serviced. I entered the movie cinema with no snacks or drinks even though I had paid for them. Popcorn was being prepared one box at time, the staff looked like they were running around like headless chickens. It was an utter waste of my time and money and spoiled my entire mood for the movie. No wonder there are only 3 branches left in the country, because their service lacks.

I went to a movie on Friday and the screen is too dark and it was terrible. I even went and compained to the staff and they did say that the movie came like that which is irresponsible answer. it was screen no 2 in North gate cinecentre and I wouldn't recommend this place until they fix the screens.
