Sales people's lack of sale experience
Few weeks I contacted chery Fourways pre owned sales department, the call went through to the guy named Keith. I told him I would like to purchase one their chery tiggo 8 pro, which I admire, sent him all the documents he went quiet I had to contact him for updates all the time, he never gave me any feedback, he's last update was "I'll put in the application for you" and he went mute.. Look the issue is give your client feedback whether they qualify or not atleast communicate. Oh by the way Keith I got that Chery pro from somewhere else and two of my friends are going to purchase from that dealership I bought at.. I felt undermined. Bye

UNSAFE VEHICLE - CHERY TIGGO 8 - CHERY FOURWAYS IGNORES LIFE-THREATENING ISSUES
Dear Fellow South African Motorists, I am writing this review with a heavy heart and a deep sense of responsibility to warn you about the grave safety risks I have experienced with my Chery Tiggo 8, and the complete negligence of Chery Fourways. I purchased a brand-new Chery Tiggo 8 Executive from Chery Fourways in July 2025, believing I was investing in a safe vehicle for my family. I could not have been more wrong. This car has proven to be fundamentally unsafe and defective, and the dealership has abandoned me entirely. The Critical Safety Defects Endangering My Family: Dangerous Rolling Back: The vehicle rolls back excessively on even slight inclines, even with the 'auto-hold' function engaged. This is not a minor inconvenience; it's a severe collision risk at every robot and in stop-start traffic. Terrifying Sunroof Explosion: While driving with my children, the entire panoramic sunroof spontaneously exploded and shattered. The sound was deafening, and the trauma has left my children and me fearful every time we are in the car. This is not normal and points to a critical failure in structural integrity. Faulty Brake System: The brakes emit loud, unexplained grinding and squealing noises, raising serious concerns about the reliability of the most important safety system in the car. Non-Functional Connectivity: The infotainment system fails to connect to phones, forcing you to handle your phone for navigation, which is a significant distraction and safety hazard. Chery Fourways' Shameful Response - They Do Not Care: After the terrifying sunroof explosion, I have been pleading with Chery Fourways for help. I have sent multiple emails, detailing these life-threatening issues and formally requesting the cancellation of the sale. They have completely ignored every single one of my requests. Their silence is deafening and speaks volumes about their regard for customer safety. When I escalated this to Chery South Africa Head Office, their response was even more disheartening. They told me it is "not their issue" and that the dealership must deal with it. So, you are left completely alone, with a dangerous car and a dealership that is "not even bothered." My Plea to You: Do not make the same mistake I did. My life and the lives of my children are not negotiable. THINK TWICE before buying a Chery Tiggo 8. The safety issues I have listed are not minor faults; they are catastrophic failures that put you and your loved ones at risk. AVOID CHERY FOURWAYS AT ALL COSTS. They will smile and take your money, but when a serious problem arises, they will disappear. Their after-sales service is non-existent. They ignore client complaints and show zero responsibility for the products they sell. I am now forced to pursue legal action and report this to the National Consumer Commission. I am sharing my story here in the hope that I can prevent another family from going through this fear and frustration. Please, learn from my terrible experience.
