19 Aug 2022, 12:59So today, Thursday 18 August 2022 I took my car to Chery Sandton when I noticed a little orange light I didn't understand. I had no appointment as I walked in at the Service side of the shop. I was welcomed by a very sweet, nice & highly professional lady whom I got to know later as Melanie. With a beautiful smile she offered to assist me & he called a guy named Freddie who also very professional & friendly.
The light was just tyre pressure on my front left tyre. Freddie took the car to the floor, fixed the problem & the two of us took a drive around the block so that the system could adjust as he explained. On the road we were laughing and talking like old friends & he informed me that they were very very busy with over 10 cars lined up for service today and new ones that arrived which also needed attention for their systems etc. He really looked very busy!
Before I left I informed him that I had not yet done the 5000 km service on my car & was a little over that mark. He asked that we could go inside to speak to Melanie. Without any hassles she explained to me that the car would need to be serviced since I was already over the 5000 km mark. As busy as they were running around, they offered to do the car today still & even apologized that they would finish it late in the afternoon! I was there around 13h00 with no appointment!! Melanie organized a driver to take me home whilst Freddie took my car in.
Melanie called me around 16h30 to inform me that my car was ready. I got there & I was even given a present, a cup & a little blanket!
I left that place very humbled and extremely satisfied with the service, let alone the friendliness, professionalism & the excellent customer care that Melanie & Freddie from Service displayed to me. I was a walk-in customer, finding them extremely busy but they still treated me with so much respect!
If you drive a Chery car, I'd recommend that you use Chery Sandton for service. You are guaranteed to get the best service & warmth that will melt your heart! Melanie & Freddie are an asset to Chery Sandton! I'm sold!!🙏🏽🙏🏽
