Not happy

I bought 2 chery Tiggo's one for myself and one for my partner as we really love these cars. But now my partner is experiencing some problems with the body work. First the silver trimming on the driver passenger side look like it has rust spots and the mirrors look like the paint is fading. The car was booked in for a service today at Alberton Chery where we usually book in our cars and my partner was told... It is because we don't dry the car after washes that causes the rust spots, which is not true, and the fading of the paint in the mirrors is because we don't polish the car. In al of my years owning many cars we never experienced this with any car. We don't live at the coast so why the rust spots and the cars are always dried when washed and the fading if the mirrors...really. This is unacceptable. The car is not even 2 years old. Please advise as this does not sound like a good explanation give by the dealership.
