Dissappointment
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your dealership.
In April, I brought my vehicle in for its 45,000km service. Unfortunately, the service book was not stamped at the time. When I contacted your team to raise this issue, I was simply told to bring the book in to have it stamped—without any apology or acknowledgment of the oversight. Due to my demanding work schedule and late working hours (I finish at 17h00), I was unable to return immediately.
Last Friday, I finally managed to visit your dealership. The lady who assisted me informed me that my car was already due for its 60,000km service. I then made an appointment for Wednesday, 27 August. However, upon bringing in the car, I was told that it had exceeded the service maintenance mileage and that I would now be responsible for the full cost of the service.
This was never explained to me during my previous interactions with your staff. I find it unacceptable that I was not properly informed about the consequences of missing the service window, especially considering that the delay was due to your initial oversight in not stamping the service book.
I respectfully request that you reconsider the charges for this service, as I believe the situation could have been avoided with better communication and accountability from your team.
I look forward to your response and a resolution to this matter.
