CHERY SOLD ME A PROBLEMATIC CAR

I bought a brand new Chery Tiggo 7pro distinction on the 28/11/2022 at chery Vanderbijlpark branch. Then on the 18/12/2022 I was in KZN, it was raining and boom there was water leaking by the accelerator paddle. There was also rattling sound too. I notified the salesman, he advised that I should bring in the car at their workshop so that they fix the problems. I did take the car at their workshop. From then till now 03/03/2023 I have taken the car to the workshop 4 times and every time they say it's fixed or they do not see where this water is coming from, they said I should come with proof of it happening. I got them the proof on the 15 March 2023 on video. They took the car and gave me a courtesy car.

The after service experience is the worst, on the 28/02/2023 they called me saying they have an audit they need the courtesy car. I refused to give them the car, they came at my apartment, used the spare key and took the car. Worse, the manager who came Isaac Molotsi shared my information with my neighbor and gave my neighbor my belongings that were in the car. I still have the original key with me. They threatened my child saying they going to call police on me. My 9 year old child was traumatized that night. From the 28th of Feb to the 3rd of March i was without a car.

I have a trail of emails with Chery SA and international. The last communication from them was on the 1st of March where they said they have sent their technical experts to go check the car and that I will get a detailed report the following day (2nd of March). I have not received any report of what is wrong with the car or if they are able to fix it. I requested a meeting with the manufacturer chery SA but they are not willing to meet with me. I have also requested that they should give me a new car without problems still they do not want to do that, I have also requested that they take their car and pay off the bank as I was financed by Wesbank, they do not want to take responsibility. On the 3rd Feb I went to get the car because I need to go to work and take my child to school. They told me the workshop manager is in a meeting. I took the car without any report of what they did on the car. I do not want this car anymore. Why should I spend more time at the workshop when I have bought a brand new car.

Chery SA do not care about their customers. Not once have they apologized for selling me a faulty car and they do not want to take responsibility.
