Chery Pinetown

Chery Pinetown I purchased a Demo model Chery Tiggo 7 Pro & took possession in August 2024 from Chery Pinetown. Non disclosure of defects/ damages I.e, damaged registration number plate, 7 scratches and small dents and the damaged/torn right front fender lining was not mentioned to me at all. Together with the defects there were 9 irregularities in total that I experienced with Chery Pinetown. One of them being added products (VAPS) was included in my contract without being discussed with me for approval. The above irregularities was brought to the attention of the Dealer Principal Chery Pinetown. His response was pathetic, covering up for his staff’s incompetence, issuing a sarcastic statement that I enjoy my ride in the newly acquired Chery vehicle, without mentioning sorting out the 9 irregularities. I have brought this matter to Chery S A and they sided with the Dealer Principle Chery Pinetown. They refused to attend to the defects as well as refund me the money for the products that was included in the contract without my approval. I have brought this matter to the Consumer Council’s attention. 4 of my consumer rights was violated & I was treated unfairly as well as unjustly. The Consumer Council got Chery Pinetown & their attorneys to attend to all the scratches & dents. I was also refunded for the products that was included in my contract without my approval. My advice is for peace of mind, stay far away from Chery Pinetown, they are bad news.
