Chery Northcliff – Tiggo 7 Pro inoperative after repeated faults, no resolution

I bought a brand new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro from Chery Northcliff on 25 Feb 2026. On 27 Feb 2026, the vehicle developed an electrical fault.

I returned the car to Chery Northcliff 3 times between 27 Feb and 31 Mar 2026 for the same issue. Each time I was told “no fault found,” despite providing video evidence.

On 26 Mar 2026, the dealer identified a BCM fault. The vehicle was taken in for BCM replacement on 1 Apr 2026.

On 10 Apr 2026, the car presented the same defect. I emailed Chery Northcliff on 10 Apr 2026 to state my position, but they failed to address the issues. From 11 Apr 2026, the car was parked as it was no longer safe to drive, and I lodged a case with MIOSA.

On 28 Apr 2026, the vehicle became completely inoperative. It no longer unlocks and has remained parked since.

I have since rejected further repair of the vehicle as I lost trust in their ability to fix it, given they could not find the fault initially. I also rejected replacement, as I have lost trust in the brand regarding how they handle customer complaints.

My case is currently with MIOSA, case 517355, and I am waiting on a verdict for a full refund.
