********* and Prejudice behaviour by Dealer Principal and Sales Manager

The behaviour of the Sales Manager and the Dealer Principal is disgusting and prejudice.

On the 3rd March I saw a 2nd hand vehicle on-line, send a message and Tshepo the sales man from the Sandton branch phoned me and told me to go to their Northcliff branch to view it. The following day on the 4th I went around 9am, I informed the Northcliff and Tshepo that I want to buy the vehicle and I'm just going to get the office to prepare the paperwork since the company was purchasing it for me. Same day, later in the afternoon, I took our procurement person to inspect and test drive the vehicle and all was well.

On Wednesday the 5th around midday the company paid the R10k holding deposit as advised by the Tshepo. On Friday the 7th I found out that the vehicle had been sold after Tshepo and his line manger informed Northcliff branch that the vehicle already has a buyer.

Effectively Tshepo was ****** of his commission and I ended without a car that I had put down a deposit on.

The Sales Manager and the Dealer Principal told me they work on first come first serve basis, but according to the times tamp of the sequence of events, my deposit came in first. They then pretended to do damage control and promised me that they will find me another vehicle. Never heard from them.

Dear Mr. Senkhane,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take customer service very seriously, and we deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration you have experienced.

Upon reviewing the situation, we would like to clarify that the deposit was only reflected in our system at 13:40 on Wednesday, the 5th of March. On the morning of the same day, another client came in and, as your deposit had not yet been processed nor any documents signed, they proceeded with the purchase. Their deal was approved and validated before 13:00, and they took delivery of the vehicle on the same day.

We would also like to highlight that the vehicle in question had a lot of interest, with over 40 leads generated. If the necessary documents, including the offer to purchase and a deposit retention form, had been signed, you would have had a 24-hour hold on the vehicle to allow you to get your finances in order. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and we were unable to hold the vehicle beyond the point of sale.

We understand your frustration and would like to assure you that we are committed to resolving this issue to your satisfaction. Please rest assured that race had no influence on this transaction, and our decision was based purely on the timing of the deposit and the availability of the vehicle.

We are still actively sourcing a vehicle that matches your requirements. However, please be aware that this may take some time, as the year model, price, and mileage of the vehicle you are looking for is not something we currently have in stock. We will keep you updated and do our best to find a suitable replacement as soon as possible.

Once again, we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. Should you have any further concerns or require assistance, we are happy to help
