evo D5 not living up to its standards
Our motor was installed March this year.It was running fine then it started giving problems.First the battery ran out, it was replaced. Then the low battery kept flashing. Then the power supply got replaced. The problem persisted and eventually another battery was replaced.Last week my husband used the gate in the morning, it was working fine. When I opened the gate later the morning it opened fine. When I closed it, it only closed a bit and stopped.I then pressed the gate button again and that is when the gate ran past its safety stop point and fell off at the back.It nicked the green box and knocked the little door and fell over onto the steps next to the motor. We got a bill today of R1300 for repairs.Centurion basically taking no responsibility for a ‘safe’ motor that ran past its safety point. We were told it is such a safe motor you don’t need a second stop even! What if it fell over onto my kids.I really do wish we got an ET motor instead.
