New Year Emergency Thank You

On New Years Eve my dad started complaining of something in his eye (on the inside). It got progressively worse. We live about 200km from the nearest hospital and it was already late at night. We had to wait until the following day to travel. The Eye Institute could not help, the ER at Wilgers could not help and referred him to Dr. le Roux for the following day. I was too worried and phoned the emergency number. Dr. le Roux was so thoughful and kind as to explain to me what could be happening (even thought he was at home) and to agree to see my father in an hour. It turned out he had a tear in his retina, which Dr. le Roux fixed immediately, all on the 1st of January. I will never forget this kindness and care and I am exremely grateful to Dr. le Roux.
