Vodacom - Free data promised not added to package

On the 12th of June 2015 I did a Vodacom cellphone contract upgrade at Cellucity Baywest Mall Port Elizabeth . I was on the Smart Xl package and changed to the Smart L package (R869 pm) . The assistant (I do not know his name and according to Cellucity he has left their service) explained the package to me and informed me that it also included a 1GB data free per month for three months . My son in law was with me when he explained it . This persuaded me to engage in this contract . On the first of July I noticed that I only got the standard amount of monthly data included in my contract a. I did not receive the 1Gb of data as promised . I phoned Vodacom Customer care who told me that they cannot assist me and that I should take it up with Cellucity . I phoned Cellucity this morning and was assisted by a Guy called JJ who was very understanding and helpful and promised to look into the matter . He phoned me back and told me that I was mis informed by the Cellucity employee who did the upgrade and that the 1Gb pm x 3 mths was just applicable to the Smart S package .<br> I feel that I was misled as this free data promised persuaded me to take this package
