False Advertising

I Received a Sony Experia Z3 Compact from CELLU CITY. The handset is meant to be water proof however it accidentally went into water and now Vodacom refuses to fix it. Apparently \THE PORTS WERE OPENED". I have gone through the SONY manual and nowhere does it state that if the phone encounters water whilst the ports are opened then it wont work. I am now without a phone and vodacom refuses to compensate me.. This is not acceptable. The manual should state what they are saying. """
