Atrocious customer service

My daughter Jaydean Jacobs upgraded her cell phone at Cellucity at the beginning of the month. She did an upgrade to the Huawei P9 Nova. Upon collection of the phone she received no offer or advise informing her to upgrade her insurance cover through Cellucity. The store also didn't have stock for the protective screen cover as there was none availeable in the market yet. she also got no offer for assistance with the set up of the phone, this resulted in her using R200 worth of data to get the phone up and running. On Monday 29/5 she was back at the store to make an insurance payment and collect another phone. She then inquired again regarding the screen cover and was told by Nevan & Mathew that it was still not availeable. She then went to another store in the mall who didn't have either but assisted by modifying a cover and fitting it for her. As Murphy would want it, the phone dropped on Tuesday and the screen cracked.

She went to cellucity on Wendsday afternoon to inquire whether the insurance will cover the repair or if it also comes with a free screen repair as some of the new phones on the market. Not 1 Peron in this store could answer her. Nevan took the phone and asked what model it was? ( no product knowledge for someone working with it daily ). He then asked her where she got the screen cover that didn't help much? She informed him from another store due to them not having stock to which he rep**** but they had stock since Monday and she never asked on Monday. .....making her a ****. ( don't think he knows his left from his right, if he cannot recognise a phone in his hand, how will he know which accessory goes with it? She was also told its not their ( store emplyees) duty to insure you upgrade the insurance.... surely it is an added value called up selling in the retail trade, especially if it is through your company and not an outside party. If he opend his eyes on Monday and sold her the screen cover he did have in stock there would have been a big chance of that screen not being cracked. She was handed 2 pieces of paper to complete with her details and took the phone. She wasn't offered a temporary phone as per insurance contract nor told what the time lapse would be before they can give her an answer. She was in tears when I collected her from this store with frustration and how badly she was treated. Really guys, you work with people who pays your salaries, is this what your customer service is about? She will be moving from suppliers and insurance within the near future. Her cell no : ********** 809.
