Appalling Customer Service
on the 26th of July I bought an Preowned iPhone 8 with a 12 month warranty at Cellucity online store. The phone was delivered 2days later which was very quick amd impressive. On the the 26th of August the phone wouldn't switch on. On the 27th August my daughter took the phone to Cellucity in Cavendish Square. She was asked to pay R350 yo restore the software and to have it fixed at the store. I was happy to pay but after 2 attempts they couldn't fix it. I was then asked to send my invoice to have it booked in under warranty. My daughter was assisted by Asheekah who left and handed everything to Mario who subsequently booked it in. 2 Fridays later I called to check if the phone was back and was told it wasn't and would get a call when it came back. On the 10th I called back and spoke to Asheekah who said would do a follow up and call me back on Monday and I never heard from her. I called back on Monday and spoke to Asheekah pnce again who told me I needed to pay a R1000 + and I told her the phone was under warranty and yet again I was asked to resend the invoice and I did and this was on the 15th of September and I have since heard anything from Cellucity staff. The service is very appalling and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from the company. I paid a cash amount of R5600 for this phone and in the 2 months I bought the phone, my daughter only used it for less than 1month.
