Under Insuring Cell Phone

VodaWorld assisted with my claim for a new phone via Vodacom Insurance (Cellsure). This was the first time I was explained to that my phone was only insured for R15 000-00 and the IPHONE 6 PLUS 128GB is approx. R19 000-00. I explained to the consultant that this was never ever verbally disclosed to me that by taking out insurance through Vodacom I would be under insured. Let's be totally real here - What customer would agree to under-insuring there phone by close to R4000 plus the 20% excess you have to pay. If that had been explained to me , I would have taken personal insurance cover to ensure the full cover of the phone would be provided. This insurance cover was processed on the 14th August 2015. I was also informed that Vodacom Insurance only introduced R20 000-00 band cover insurance in October. So in other words, Vodacom Insurance been a financial institution should have informed me they could not provide the correct cover as they did not provide that cover at the time , instead they allowed me to think I was insured correctly. How many other customers have this issue and don't know about it and the assistance from Cellsure has been appalling
