Excess payable by me for an iPhone6 screen - R5705

I am insured with Cellsure through Vodacom. The screen of my son's iPhone6 was damaged and sent in for repairs. Then I received a call to say I must pay over R5 000 for the screen repair. The consultant I spoke to last week Tuesday, told me that the technician gave her a report to say that the whole phone needs to be replaced since the \mother board"was also damaged. This is not true because my son is still using the phone"
