ZTE Battery problem

I am a not at all happy customer. The battery of my ZTE failed to work and I took it to the CellC shop in Paarl. They send the phone away for a review and then I heard that it was MY fault that the battery is not working anymore! Apparently I over charged the battery! If I overcharged the battery there should've been 6-8 phones in the dustbin by now!

If you google, you will find so many people complain about the battery of their ZTE's! Now I wonder if EVERYONE overcharged their phones or are there really big problems with the batteries of that specific phones!

I declined to pay for repairs since I feel it's unfair to me since I don't even have the phone for 9 months! Now I am without a phone for the next 15 months because of a problem that might've been a factory fault??! And I still need to pay my contract fees...

Personally I think CellC is putting blame on the customer because they don't want to give me a credit!

Not at all happy with the service!

When a device is booked in for repairs, it is assessed by a qualified technician and based on the outcome of the findings a decision is taken as to whether the device should be replaced, repaired or refunded. If a decision of having the device repaired is taken then a quotation is sent to the customer then customer has a choice of accepting or rejecting the quote. If the customer does not accept the quote then the device will not be repaired then it will be sent back to the customer.
It is the customers responsibility to look after their devices while under their care.

Best regards,
No problem - then I will not renew my contract next year. My devices are all looked after very carefully! I never had any problems with other brands before!? Makes me wonder...
