You owe us! We not sure how though. Talk to the Debt collector - Thank you Cell C

<p>My cell phone contract ended was terminated in 2013 when I left the business turning number into a prepaid account, sound simple right? WRONG!</p> <p> </p> <p>Fast forward 3 years later I start getting phone calls from Cell C advising me that I owe thousands for the outstanding bill for a number that has been inactive for over 2 years. I explained to the first few people from Cell C that the contract was a company account and was terminated when I left the business. All consultants advised that they apologise for the inconvenience, they can see the number has not been active for some time, they will sort this issue out. Did they...? HA!</p> <p>Since August 2016 I have been receiving calls from a debt collecting company telling the same thing, they are just as useful I tell you... NDS the debt collector just has a ref number for my collection order, my ID number, my cell phone number but don’t have the account number that is owing nor the contract's cell number and the contact details of the person who supp**** the information. But they know that I owe money while the entity that "sent" the information does not even have that information themselves. So where does this outstanding amount come from I ask them all? None have an answer.</p> <p>Contacting the offices has proved excruciatingly useless as the Cell C office also does not have the account details, the only the thing they have is my ID number indicating that I am on prepaid and that is all they "see”. Back at the ranch I am being told by the debt collector, NDS that I owe money for a contract that ended in 2013. What help that is... (while my ITC rating is further damaged on a daily basis and I am still without a phone)</p> <p>No one between Cell C and their debt collectors have information or power to resolve this matter. Which power that be authorised for my name and ITC record to be pulverised in this nature remains a mystery to me and the entities' helpless employees. The only way for this horror to end is for me the actually bend over and pay an amount I should not, then continue with life. I have email communication with Cell C people and the NDS debt collector but that was just another waste of time and effort.</p> <p>Being sent from pillar to post does not even begin to describe the way I have been tossed around I actually feel violated.
