yes ... er I mean no

We changed to Cell C a year ago. we brought our phones over. A week ago my phone started to fail. I spoke to Slindile at Cell C and explained i wanted to add a device to my contract. She got the approval which I have in writing and I chose the phone and they were going to deliver it to me at work. This was on 28 February. This morning I get a call from Lucky who tells me that it had been turned down. I explained to him that I had the approval in writing. He then said that approval is given and then it gets vetted which is the stupidest process I can think of. I told him I was going to approach his boss. He then told me that this would be himself. I repleid that it was Jose de Santos I was thinking of and he said that there was no point as I would just get referred back to Lucky so I needn't bother.

This has happened before with Cell C - everything was hunky dory and then fell apart. I am neither patient or understanding and I most certainly do not feel like an esteemed customer. I have approval in writing. I guess we will just have to ask the Consumer Commissioner
