Wrongfully billed on account
I phoned Cell C customer care and cancelled my debit order approximately Sept/Oct 2015 and said to them I will rather pay via EFT or directly into their Nedbank account as we changed banks. I made a EFT payment early December for my November account, according to them I paid 2 cent short, on which they submitted a debit order for the 2 cent that I paid short. Bank charges for the debit order was R 9.00 the bank reversed the debit order and charged me R 17.00 = R 26.00 although I don't use that account anymore and after I cancelled the debit order at Cell C. I phoned them on the 5th of January to get the amount payable for my December 2015 account and I was told the amount was R 311.04 but I have to pay R 311.06 because of the 2 cent short which I did on the 5th of January 2016. This morning (10 th Jan) I received an SMS which informed me that there is still amount of R 178.98, I phoned customer care to enquire where that amount comes from and I was told that I bough data bundles on 3 occasions during Dec 2015 which I did NOT and I have to pay R 70.00 for the debit order of 2 cent that was reversed this comes to a total of R 96.00 for 2 cent...!!!..RIDICULOUS...!!!!!
