Wrong information on warranty S6 edge

i see that i am not the only one struggling with Cell C and the misinformation given regarding warranty of the mobile device. Warranty for mobile phones on Samsung website states 24 months.

Product Mobile Phones
General information Customer details such as: Name, Contact number.

Product details such as: Serial no., Model no. and Proof of purchase or contract documents are mandatory requirements.
Warranty service In case of repair unit can be booked with a Samsung Authorised Service Centre.
Warranty period 24 months

upon renewing the contract we were told that the warranty is for the duration of the contract 24mnths. this includes one free repair of the screen if damaged /cracked.

well now that my screen is damaged it seems that a 24mnth warranty does not exist and that the screen repair is only valid in the first 12 mnths after purchase.

We have been cell c customers for several years and after being taken for a ride.....i think its time to get off the cell c train.

As per our records, Theodorah did not advise, as you have stated above. She explained the difference between 12 months and 24 months, if the screen cracks within 12 months in terms of ADH bracket and also provided options of payment regarding the quote.

Cell C ,

I think you should really invest in better training of your customer service staff.
