Wrong information during upgrade

I recently registered to pre order the Samsung Galaxy S7 on Cell C's website in order to qualify for the VR Gear Promotion. After that I phoned on 22/3/2016 to do my upgrade and ordered the phone as I was enticed by the fact that you can get the Gear with the phone as well. I asked the sales consultant about it and was told that I need to contact Samsung directly to claim this. Today I received my phone and first tried to contact Cell C's sales department in order to find out what to do next as there is no brochure that explains it in more detail. After 20 minutes I gave up and phoned Samsung in Canal Walk directly. To my utter disgust I was informed that this promotion ended on 19 March 2016 already, but it seems as if no one is being informed of this as there are loads of customers like myself phoning in to claim the VR gear..this is absolutely appalling from you! I wanted to get the LG G4 ,but went with the Samsung as the offer of getting free gear with the phone was a lot more appealing. I've been with Cell C for over 10 years and this is extremely bad and misleading way of doing sales..Worst of all you guys still haven't removed the promo ad off your website!
