Wrong information

I upgraded my phone in October last year.A31 was on promotion , came with cover and screen protector. The lady who helped me at Northgate branch confirmed that my phone had a screen protector and a back cover. Last month my phone fell down and had some cracks. I went to the same branch last week Thursday to change my screen protector as it is broken. I was told that my phone doesn't have a screen protector meaning my phone glass is broken. I am not that stupid I could have bought the screen protector when I bought the phone but the lady confirmed that it had a screen protector.
