Wrong Excess amount given for Claim

Hi,

I lost my cell phone and I called the customer service to send me a claim form which I received after 02 weeks after calling them for the second them.

Well the biggest issue that I found was when I was been informed a ridiculous excess amount of 1400 ZAR.

When I raised a concern I was informed by an executive that we can't do anything and you will have to send an email to complaints channel.

I kept telling the consultant that I being a foreign national was never been informed about the insurance facility else i could have taken it from day one.

i am already paying 69 zar from last 08 months now.

So in nutshell co. would like to charge me 2001 (69*8=552 plus an excess amount of 1449 )on the cellphone which was bought for 4999 zar.

I mean why does a co. like this fool us around and makes hell of a money with worst customer service.

I would like to raise an issue with Hello peter and look into this matter quiet seriously.
