Worst Service provider..they can't cancel my contract even though expired #useless

Hi,

My contract expired on the 25th of November 2017. I have been in contact with Cell c to cancel it but no instead they still charging me and debiting my account. I do want an upgrade with cell c. I have another contract which is expiring next year in February 2018. I know I will encounter the same problem that I am currently facing now. Cell C is ******** people..watch out

Good morning Thulisile

In line with the terms and conditions of the contract that you have agreed to, you are required to provide a calendar month notice in order to have your contract cancelled on its maturity date.

If the agreement is not cancelled during the contract period or on expiry of the contract period and is not renewed, then the agreement will run for
the contract period and then on a month-to-month basis until the agreement is cancelled.

I really don't understand this.. Why would the contract continue after the expiry date has passed? Initially when I took the contract the period was a fixed 24 months period. Do you tell your customers that the contract will continue after maturity date when they initially take contracts?? And what exactly will I be paying for after the contract has ended? I believe the payment is for both the data and the phone right? if the phone is settled then it means you are Robbing people? is that not correct? What you are doing is not right. If the term has expired its only fair to cancel the contract automatically. It's frustrating to send you guys emails to cancel contracts which you clearly know the term has ended. I humbly request that you cancel my contract ASAP
