Worst service EVER!!!
On 30 March 2019 my phone was stole at around 13H45. I called C Cell on 084135 at 13h30 from my wife phone ********** reporting that my phone was ****** and I need all sim cards to be blocked and the phone to be backlisted was informed that they require the IMEI number for them to be able to assist with my request. (Call time 11.24min) At 14h12 I called again providing the IMEI numbers and the consultant confirmed that all sim cards as well as the phone has been blocked. (Call time 8.44min) On Monday 1st April I visited Cell C in Ilanga Mall explaining my phone was ******, case was reported at police and all sim cards blocked. I requested the salesperson to do the necessary sim swops for the phone to call as well as for the data. This was done and I paid +- R 264 and was informed that I can only start my phone at about 16h30. I started my phone at about 19h00 only to find that I can call but I did not have access to my data.
On 2 April 2019 at about 10h00 I went back to Cell C at Ilanga Mall informing them that I still do not have data on my phone. They gave me another sim card @ R1. I told the salesperson and manager that something is not right as I cannot few my data balance on the function *101# only to be informed that I was never before able to do it. I told them I was previously able to do balance checks on call time as well as data. They also informed that I will be billed R5 pm extra –yet again I told them that it was not like that before but again they told me it was impossible. I did have access to data when I left the Cell C shop.
On 3 April at about 10.14 I received a call from a lady form Cell C (Narisha Gounden a credit Vetter) asking me if i bought data bundles. She told me that is why she phoned as data bundles to the value of +- R 6 380 was purchased on my account. I confirmed to her that I have never bought any data bundles before—welcome to go on my contract history—and that I have never ever given permission to any person to buy data bundles—not my wife, my children, any person I know or any person I do not know nor any service provider. At about 15h00 that afternoon I lost communication to data and was unable to communicated if data was applicable. I yet again went back to Cell C in Ilanga Mall and told them what happened only to find out that my data access was temporary deactivated. The sales person called the customer service center told them I need the to deactivate the temporary deactivation. They told me that everything was sorted and all was ok. I then told them I am uncomfortable and I called the lady that phoned me the morning from Cell C (Narisha Gounden). I asked her to talk to the shop manager only to find out that they never did a sim swop on the data when I visited the shop or the sim shop was never activated. They gave me again a new sim card @ R 115 at about 16h40. They told me that the phone must be off till about 20h00. I left the shop at about 17H00. I called the 084135 at 17H11 to make 100% sure that all data sim cards is blocked. (Call time 16.21 min called from ********** 823)
At 20h45 I switched on my phone on to find that I still do not have access to data. Again, I called the 084135 number @ 20H58 to find out why I do not have access to data. The call center assistant informed me that I have reached my limit due to the large data bundles that was purchased on my account. He then told me if I give him permission to lift the bundle amount with R1 I will have access. I insist that I will not give authority for that and will stay without data activity. (Call time 38.11min) At 21H48 I called again the 084135 confirming previous call. (Call time 8.48min) At 21h57 I called the 084135-number requesting them to block all data simcards even the one I paid for that afternoon as I was so frustrated with all the unauthorized issues regarding the purchases of data on my account and the fact that I do not have access to data on my contract (+- 50GB available) The lady informed me that several calls has been logged regarding this unauthorized data purchase and the will do a follow up within 48 hours.
On 4 April at 18H50 I received a sms from Cell C sending me a OTP number stating that my contract is almost approved. I ignored the sms and called the 084151 number 9.26 and the Cell C person looked on my profile only to state no new contract applications was on my name and informed me that the sms send to me was send incorrectly.
