Worst Service by CELL-C

I have recently bought a house, moved in two weeks ago and the previous owner used CELL-C ISP. The previous owner has relocated to New Zealand. For the past 3 weeks I've arrange for the new ISP to come and installed, however i was told that CELL-C will only be removed 31st of Dec, that means i have to wait for a month without internet for CELL-C to make way for ISP of my choice to be installed. Cell-C has informed me that the previous owner has cancelled the contract by will be effective on the date mentioned above. When I asked CELL-C to deactivate immediately they asked me to provide the previous owner's information, which i do not have , i only have the physical address.
