Worst Network Provider
Cell C is the worst cellphone network anyone can ever choose. If you are currently using this network or thinking of joining them, my advice would be RUN AWAY as far away from cell c as possible. I've had the worst experience ever, after being a loyal customer for close to 20 years. RUN AWAY i repeat.
I lost my phone and now they cant assist with sim swap over the telephone, they tell me I have to go to a cell c shop and there's no other way, if that's the procedure I have no problem with it, however, I asked if its my fault as a customer that all the shops around my area have been closed? Is it fair that I have to drive +****m to the nearest shop just for a sim swap?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially after being a loyal customer for so many years. We recognize the inconvenience of needing to visit a store for a SIM swap, especially with limited store locations nearby. Our SIM swap process is in place to protect your security, but we understand how challenging this can be when stores are not easily accessible.
Could you let us know if you were given a reason why the SIM swap couldn't be completed over the phone? Additionally, please send us the number you wish to swap and the date you last used the SIM card via private message so we can assist further.
Regards,
Cell C | GN
