worst customer service and upgrade deal ever.

<div style="font-size: 12pt; border: 1px solid #CCC; background-color: #ccc;">Customer By Service Email (Lee) <span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #4f4f4f;">(<a href="calendar:T7:22/03/2016 22:35:05">22/03/2016 22:35:05</a>)</span></div> <p> </p> <div style="font-size: 12pt; border: 1px solid #BBB; background-color: #fff;"> <div>To whom it may concern</div> <div> </div> <div>I am a very unhappy customer, and feel that Cellc does not value their clients.</div> <div> </div> <div>I took out my first contract with cellc in April 2014 a straight 100 contact with a samsung s4 mini handset with a monthly payment of R398 with no hassles and no problems. In October 2015 a cellc consultant contacted me with the news that I qualify for an early upgrade, and didn't have to wait the full 24months before upgrading.</div> <div> </div> <div>I asked the consultant if taking this early contract would cause any confusion or mix up with my current account, I was assured that it wouldn't. I opted for a Samsung s6 edge and was advised that it is an open line and that I need to put a limit on my account before April 2016 when the new contract becomes active. But until then I would only continue to pay R398. And from April 2016 for 24 months onwards I will be billed according to the new contract, or extra if I do not put a limit seeing that its an open line contract. The new contract was finalised in November 2015.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>However in December 2015 I was billed R937.73, because of the holidays I contacted cellc soonest in the beginning of January 2016. To try and clear up the misunderstanding while it was still in an early stage. I was then told that they have to investigate and will get back to me. I got the following case number <a href="tel: ********** 722"> ********** 722</a>.</div> <div> </div> <div>Because I didn't get any feedback I phoned back on 28th of January 2016 and spoke to a consultant called Nokwazi, she advised that there is no outcome yet as they are still listening to the recorded phone calls. I explained to her that it looks like cellc is buying time and at the end of the day they want to tell me I cannot back out from the contract. She understood my frustration and told me she can not do anything while the investigation is still ongoing but she would make a note for them to contact me with feedback.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>I received absolutely no feedback and my account was still debited with different amounts and not the R398 as agreed. On 21st of March 2016 I phoned again spoke to a consultant who advised me that I opened a open straight up 100 open line contract on November 2015 and it'll end April 2016 when I told her I never opened a straight up 100 open line contract she argued with me as to according her system I did. I tried explaining to her what contract I have (straight up 100 contract)and what I upgraded to ( open line contract) then she dropped the call.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>I phoned back yet AGAIN got a different consultant think Nokwanda I gave her my case number she told me the case was finish so I asked what the outcome was. And she couldn't tell me as the case was left unattended. She also told me she made a note and send an email to the respective department to get into contact with me.</div> <div> </div> <div>The worst possible service.</div> <div> </div> <div>I would also like to request that the debit order on the nedbank cheque account be stopped. I requested her to do stop the debit order that too she was unable to do.</div> <div> </div> <div>I have closed that account and if cellc proceeds to put debit orders through cellc will liable for the bank charges.</div> <div> </div> <div>My straight up 100 contract as per signed contract is to expire in April 2016. I would appreciate feedback on this investigation as soon as possible. Because if this is not the agreement that was made with me then I want to return this Samsung s6 edge handset and complete my old contract, without taking any other contracts with cellc.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>I have asked for this issue to be looked into well in advance, cellc neglected to bring their side.</div> <div> </div> <div>Awaiting your speedy response in this regard.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Email send to Cellc accompanied by numerous phone calls from me to them to resolve this, and to date (13 June 2016) no feedback on this from them. They only phone to tell me my account is in arrears and I need to make payment.</div> </div>
