Worst customer service!!

Since the 31 May I have been trying to resolve a simple matter with Cell C. It is a never ending battle due to the complete disregard for clients and client service. I am always calling and following up with Cell C and my query is NEVER resolved.

- 31-05-2020 – Phone call to Cell C and email sent On the 31 May a debit went off my account for R317.24 instead of the agreed upon amount of R241.10. I called your call centre (*** 100 230) only to be informed that my debit order has increased to R503.38. I wanted to cancel my contract with immediate effect so as to ensure that the benefits were not loaded on the 01 June as I was not prepared to pay this amount. I was told that I need to give 30 days’ notice to cancel. For the umpteenth time, please provide me with the proof where I was provided with 30 days’ notice regarding the increase!

- 01-06-2020 – Phone call to Cell C I spoke to Palesa Buzani to cancel my contract and who also confirmed that my account would be credited with R76.14.

- 02-06-2020 – Phone call to Cell C I spoke to Sean Sakoor to cancel my contract and who also confirmed that my account would be credited with R76.14.

- 06-06-202 – Email sent to Cell C

- 15-06-2020 – Phone call to Cell C and email sent I spoke to Bontle Seima and I also asked for Nako Ntjantje, supposedly a manager, to call me back. It’s not surprise that I am still waiting for his call.

- 16-06-2020 – Email sent to Cell C

- 18-06-2020 – Phone call to Cell C and email sent I spoke to Matlala Nthopo.

Since Cell C is battling with basic maths, I will clarify what I owe Cell C.

Agreed contract fee: R241.10 Credit from overcharge as per above: R76.14 Bank fee to reverse incorrect debit (30-06) R5.00 Bank fee to reverse incorrect debit (21-07) R5.00 Outstanding amount owed to Cell C R154.96

Cell C no longer has permission to debit my account and certainly not at any time of the month that suits you.

To summarise:

1. Please provide me with the proof of communication where I was provided with 30 days’ notice regarding the increase in the tariff. 2. Please provide me with an invoice for the correct amount of R154.96, and I will do an eft to Cell C for this amount, and this amount only.
