WORST CUSTOMER CARE CONTINUED...

<p>Posted this yesterday. No feedback. Seems like Cell C is ignoring me in the hopes that I'll give up on trying to get this resolved...</p> <p>I bought a Huawei router from Cell C Cresta. At the time of purchase I informed the manager it was to be used with an 8ta sim. I was assured this would not be a problem, and it wasn't, as the router was not locked to the Cell C network. The router then stopped working under warranty. I took it back. Worst customer service imaginable ensued. After more than 3 months of struggling with Cell C the franchise manager gave me a second hand ZTE router as a temporary replacement till the issue with my Huawei router was resolved. (His words). The ZTE router is locked to Cell C so it is useless to me. The franchise manager's feedback: "We unfortunately cannot assist if the router does not work on other networks." No feedback since. No replies. This is ridiculous! Whether or not the router works on other networks is entirely irrelevant. If you were to buy a Sony TV and it stopped working under warranty, it would be simply unacceptable if the supplier of the TV replaced it with a second hand Hisense TV as a final solution. I bought a Huawei router. It stopped working under warranty. It needs to be repaired or replaced by the same make and model router. Simple as that. But Cell C refuses outright to take responsibility almost 4 months after the original router was handed in to the store. Disgusting customer care. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CELL C!</p>
