Wont cancel my contract

I have sent through proof of payment to cancel my contracts for ***. When I called the cancellations dept I was told they cannot cancel until the amount appears on your side. I understand this, but You cannot debit my account on the 28th because I have paid in full. SO you better make sure I dont get double billed.
