Will NOT RELEASE NUMBER to port to other network

When your contract ends at Cell C, immediately cancel it then go to another network, else they will keep your number hostage for another 30 days without your consent, then you cannot port to another network!!<br> <br> My 24 month contract ended in May 2015. Cell C then automatically put me on a post paid contract, without sending me any documentation, terms and conditions, or having me sign a contract. I was therefore unaware that I will not be able to port my number to a different network on request. Cell C effectively is holding my number \hostage"for 30 days before I am allowed to port it"
