Wifi Calling Untested and Unstable Poor Customer Service Knowledge on Wifi Calling

Since changing your wifi calling to Volte there have been endless problems. I have reported this on numerous occasions it then works then suddenly stops working and customer care has no idea when calling in as to the reason why it suddenly stops working. Most recently after arriving back in Singapore where I use wifi calling to communicate with my elderly dad there was a cellc signal but unable to make or receive calls the only functionality was sms that. My proxy went to customer service in Midrand who said it must be the sim card. After spending R150 on a sim swap this made absolutely no difference. After my proxy driving back and forth to Midrand daily no one seemed to understand the issue. In fact most of your service staff do not even know what wifi calling is. Eventually yesterday my proxy received a call on the way to customer service and was told that that there is an issue with Samsung and Iphones. These are probably the most popular phones. No ETA has been given for the fix by cellc. What I find difficult to believe is that this was working few weeks back. I believe Cellc make changes without proper testing and this impacts your clients. Firstly I want a refund for the sim swap as the issue was clearly not the sim swap. Secondly this needs to be fixed urgently. Thirdly in the IT industry how can you deploy changes without proper testing. The service is unacceptable. The customer service reference is #840861.

Dear Johnny L,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the ongoing frustration and inconvenience you’ve experienced—especially given how important it is for you to stay connected with your elderly father while abroad.

We completely understand how unacceptable this situation has been. Could you please check your direct messages for further assistance?

We truly value your patience and loyalty, and we regret the lack of clarity and support you’ve received so far.

Regards

Thanks for the update however incoming calls are not working they cut off before even answering. I am able to make calls however. So I do not understand how one can make calls and not receive calls. Receiving calls are more important than making calls. When receiving a call the maker of the call gets an error message call failed or goes straight to voicemail.
