WiFi calling not free as advertised
<p>I renewed my contract and opted for a contract and phone with WiFi calling. Working in an IT environment I assumed this worked like normal VOIP and cut my talk time to 1/4 of what is was on my previous contract as they advertised free WiFi calling on the lap posts, and staff from Cell C shops confirmed no costs on WiFi calling, just data. Turns out this was a lie, you still pay from your airtime with WiFi calling. From the recordings, I did not distinctly ask about WiFi calling costs (which I am sure I did), so they had no reason of informing me of this. They could then quickly add an SMS bundle to my number but now cannot adjust my air time. This will be my last contract with this thieving bunch!</p>
