WiFi Calling Bogus Service

I recently tried to activate roaming on my line which was declined because I on a prepaid line and not on a contract. I see absolutely no logic since Cell C shouldn't really have a problem as long as the customer has sufficient airtime. Anyway a loss to their business. However, on a call with the customer team I was advised to activate my Wifi Calling feature on my phone in order to receive and make calls and send SMS as per normal while traveling whenever I am in a wifi zone. The first representative I spoke to did not know how to activate it or how it worked and had speak to her supervisor, after which she still seemed unsure so I went into the website to check for the details. I still ran #147# but the commands kept returning error messages. So after running the process set out on their site I wanted to make doubly sure that I was enabled (I have an iOS phone and had the wifi written next to the bars so assumed it was) so I called Cell C again to make sure. This operative could also not confirm but then went on to insist that I needed a new green coloured SIM card that was wifi calling enabled! Because I was so desperate to be online while traveling as I needed to make some time sensitive payments. I immediately went to the cell c store in Sandton to have my sim replaced as I was traveling the same day. While I was there I repeated the same story about having the wifi written next to the bars but the attendant there told me i should see a little phone sign which I said I didn't see. He did not even bother checking my sim or activating my wifi to check if my sim was enabled and immediately went on to run a sim swap saying this was the only way I could have the service enabled. The new Sim I was given was black not green and the same as the one I had in my phone. I explained how important it was be online while traveling. Fast forward to the next day while I am abroad. My wifi calling is not working even though my phone is activated with the feature and I was unable to make the payments I needed critical to my business. i am so furious with Cell C and their staff for having absolutely no clue of their products and blindly giving advice to clients. The cost to my business and reputation is irreplaceable. I would rather be with a service provider who don't make wild claims of the newest technology when they are not even in a position to sell it to sell it to their customers

Please note i do not appreciate the condescending tone of your reply. I am on a wifi calling enabled device as mentioned in my review above and as set out on your website if you care to read my review carefully. In any case this should have been established by your consultant at Sandton City branch prior to the SIM swap being done. I own an iPhone 6 which has been designated on your site as an enabled device. I have take screenshots to demonstrate that even when the toggle switch for wifi calling is 'on' the display does not show the wifi next to the bands.

We sincerely apologise for the tone of the response, it was not meant to come across as condescending and for the manner in which this matter has been handled.
You mentioned that "even when the toggle switch for Wi-Fi calling is 'on' the display does not show the Wi-Fi next to the bands." it could be that your handset is faulty or maybe you need to update to the latest iOS 9.3.2. However we will look into this and we'll ensure that a solution is provided.

The problem is not with my handset but the SIM since the cell c SIM that was in my phone (before you guys insisted on swapping my sim) was displaying the WiFi calling sign. It seems to me that the old SIM was working perfectly fine but your consultant clearly did not know that and decided to go ahead and issue me with a new replacement SIM. My iOS is also updated with 10.2.1
