WiFi Calling and "chat to us" seems to be a hoax

After very frustrating calls to Cell C prior to travelling, I was lead to believe that my phone could WiFi Calling. Upon arrival in the middle of Barcelona (not Burundi) and watching the YouTube tutorial, checking every setting and being connected to a 140mbps WiFI zone... I tried it ! Guess what? It didnt work! tried it a few more times... I just dropped the calls without a ring... So looking for a solution, I tried the "chat to us" link - guess what? There are never agents to assist (another gimmick) ... Pushes you to write to them and they will respond in 24 to 48 hours - Heard that a 100 times and they never call you back! Cell C should save their ad money and invest it into more productive means, other than trying to attract new customers with doggy gimmicks! Seems to be a hoax! Well for me anyway...

Well.... I received a call from Cell C... Great assistant ! BUT... If anyone reads this... Although there were great apologies, it didnt resolve the issue. Cell C, after all the checking (5 calls to Cell C) that I did prior to leaving SA for Spain for a month, NEVER informed me that 1, I need a special SIM to do WiFi Calling (a freaking f 128k U SIM - where do get such an animal? I live 150kms from the nearest f Cell C store). 2, there is WiFi Calling bundle to be purchased for R199... In all the Cell C tutorials and calling them, they blatantly ignored to tell me about this... What does this mean? Being away on business for a month, thinking that I'm going to make calls at local SA rates using f WiFi Calling and the 200 Euro WiFi service I purchased, is all for f all... I'm now on expensive roaming (which I was totally opposed to), my phone (Samsung S7 Edge) keeps falling off the Movistar network (Cell C roaming partner), l have to use Skype Out to make calls (not very clear and effects business), Cell C also cut my data roaming without a R5000/R50000 deposit (dont ask, I'm still confused), so no data in case of a f emergency.... All I can say is ***! Sorry doesn't cut it! I have been a loyal Cell C customer for probably 10 years with 7 contracts and another 4 prepaid... Mr Dos Santos, you have to fix this or do you have the same problems?

It gets betterfour days ago (22 08) Cell C shuts my roaming off all together... Again if anyone reads this, Cell C have no idea what they are doing and they dont understand there client needs when they leave the SA network. Last week I requested an interim itemised file from them (via their 'chat line" where nobody is), they send me my previous two months statements. After another "chat" session, which means type them an email, they called - A little tricky but eventually it was understood what was reqiured. When I got the spreadsheet I found different billing tariffs to what is on their website. One of the charges is R611 per minute to make an outgoing call. Will be doing battles and hours on phone to them. Always great getting back and having to fix an unnecessary mess. Well done Cell C! How do you ***** up simple billing ?
