Why won't you let me leave !

On the 11th of May 2015, I called 143 and gave my months notice to cancel my contract with CellC. I also got a follow up SMS to confirm as such.<br> <br> This is after more than 12 years of supporting the underdog. I have a love/hate relationship with CellC, their prices had been great, but the service had always been okay rather than exceptional, to the point that I would get excited when it just worked.<br> <br> Which brings me to today, I woke up all ready to be on Prepaid and port away. But ... nothing. So I called 143 but they don't work weekends. So I searched for my confirmation SMS... and there in black and white, \your contract will be terminated on the 12/06/2016"... <br> <br> Why would anyone give a years notice ? and how would that be possible if I was told in March that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to give two months notice ??<br> <br> So the ONLY acceptable solution"
