what good is a non-roaming bundle
I’ve had a problem with a non-roaming bundle which I purchased on line last time and it took a review here to sort out, so here goes again. I was told last time that the bought on-line bundle, I topped up my router data, with was non-roaming and that I should in future purchase from the shop. This I did in Herm**** and received a 20Gb bundle. I explained the hassle I had had with the previous bundle and they assured me that this was a roaming bundle – in fact they did not even know there was such a thing as a non-roaming bundle and all would be well. Well it wasn’t – I used up the last bit off the old bundle and then the router refused to connect. On Friday morning (23 Feb) I took it back to the shop and yes it was indeed a non-roaming bundle that I had been sold! I was promised it would be sorted out and just before 5pm got a call to say that the person who can do the switch will only be back on Monday! So now a whole weekend with no connection – and this is why I got the router in the first place. Monday came and went and I was again phoned late on Monday and told it was escalated to a regional manager and he was surprised that I had not been contacted. Then today (28 Feb) I phoned and was assured that the switch had been done. I went onto the website and under self-service Account/Bundle it states “CELLC_National_GPRS_Subaccount Non Roaming”? I will only be back at the location on Monday but now don’t know if indeed the non-roaming bundle has been changed into a roaming or not and then have to go through all the hoops once again?
