Was told this was a Top-Up, was actually Open-Line
Went in on 10th April to get the S6. Spoke with the consultant and confirmed that this was a TOP-UP contract and not an Open-Line, he assured me it was a Top-Up.
Signed a few places and didn't read through the huge contract as the he said I would receive a summary of it at the end. The summary read 'Straight-Up postpaid', I counted on the consultant to explain to me what it meant, and once again he assured me it was a Top-Up.
Browsing through the main contract it was just full of customised terms that doesn't make any sense to a customer.
The consultants' explanation seemed adequate (my biggest mistake). At home I noticed a Rand value charged to my account when I checked my balance.
I went back to the store that Sunday, unfortunately the assistant manager could'nt help me, he also smugly mentioned that I had signed the contract and regardless of the fact that it wasn't what I thought I was signing for, I couldn't do anything about it.
Went to see the manager the next day. She acknowledged that I was duped into signing this contract, even mentioned it's happened before, but again pointed out there was nothing I could do about it.

Is this how Cell C operates?
