Warning!!

I would like to warn people about Cell C … they are the biggest ******** ever.

I had a data contract with them that I cancelled on 06 February and imagine this … I received a bill for three times more than I was paying each month for the full month of February. After several calls to the customer service section, I put a complaint on HelloPeter. I eventually received a call back from their head office and was told that the consultant should of told me that they do not charge pro-rata rates so I was charged for February regardless as I received the full allocation on 01 February. Strangely on their invoice though, it talks of being billed pro/rata rates so what they say and what they do are actually two different things!!

Firstly how can they charge customers for a service not rendered during that period, secondly I was not told this when doing the cancellation, thirdly on 06 February at 5pm the data was no longer available. This is beyond disgusting and should be against the law.
