V.A.T. compliance

When we experienced our postal strike Cell C arbitrarily advised that they would no longer be posting their accounts, but emailing them. Ever since then I have struggled to obtain any invoices. Their self help portal has a security computer issued code that is almost impossible to read and in either case I should not have to chase the vendor to issue V.A.T. invoices. My understanding of the revenue act in SA is that the vendor has a legal obligation to ensure that the consumer receives a V.A.T. compliant invoice. This is not the first time that I have raised this issue with Cell C.
